SNUH has been recognized for its excellence in the world's first in reaching 200 cases of pure laparoscopic living donor liver resection surgery.
This operation is a surgical method considering the donor's postoperative recovery and patient satisfaction is high. However, because of the high level of skill required, many hospitals are still performing open surgery.
