What is a PET-CT scan?

PET scanner scan - simultaneous scanning shows the presence of tumors and metastases, their exact location in the body. 
PET-CT procedures are applied in the following cases.
  • Malignant neoplasm detection
  • Detection of cancer metastasis foci
  • Evaluation of the effectiveness of the treatment plan,
  • Diagnosis of cancer recurrence after treatment
